Stine Regild
Stine Regild graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 1999. Her art is characterized by a particular fascination for collage and the use of found materials. She primarily utilizes cardboard, paper, Masonite, and ceramic elements as components, but her works also incorporate painting and glossy lacquer in the form of collages and assemblages.
For the artist, recycled materials carry a history, and the patina contributes to expressing time and a form of presence. In Stine's art, we often encounter shades of white, black, and brown, and frames become an integral part of the artwork itself, creating a unique rhythm and energy.
